Now we’re talking!! Wooo Getting those pieces in place.. now lets recruit some commentators to talk to the crowd! Scoring updates.. color commentary. Lets make the finals something worth sticking around for! I think this is a great step in that direction. Watching pinball by simply staring at people’s backs sucks.
Now that looks way cool! No more “pin-butt” video!
Just got suggested we frame the screens… too many good ideas right now. One thing at a time, done right.
Making scoring more visible is as easy as introducing a whiteboard- done. Volume on finals games needs jacked up a touch, and I think conversation in the crowd might suffice for commentary, or maybe I need to watch Kingpin again to get a feel for how Big Ern would call it done, iunno. Let’s see how it all shakes out.
Very nice setup and it looks super-polished. Not like my setup: “The OSHA Violation”.
Are you planning on putting out a Finals or “Good Games” DVD, or download-on-demand? Something like that would mainly be of interest to tournament players so a rough cut is probably okay.
