How it Works
The PAPA Tournament Circuit provides a full year of high-quality competitive pinball events, sponsored by PAPA, culminating in a special Circuit Final tournament. We have selected ten to twelve high-quality events, distributed evenly on the calendar as well as across the country. Each event is worth the same number of points in our Circuit standings, and everyone is eligible to compete. Players who place in the top 24 at any of the Circuit events will be awarded points for the Circuit standings, as described below.
Only each player’s five best results contribute points to their total for ranking purposes.
The complete Circuit rules can be found here.
The Endurance Phase of the Circuit Final consists of a series of four-player games. The first game is played by the four lowest-seeded players. The highest-seeded player has choice of machine or order of play. Choice proceeds through the remaining players in descending order of seeding.
The player who has the lowest score is eliminated from the Final, and receives the appropriate prize. The player who has the highest score immediately receives $100. The next lowest-seeded player, who has not yet played, is added to the group for the next game.
1st Place = 4 points
2nd Place = 2 points
3rd Place = 1 point
4th Place = 0 points
Order of finish is determined by cumulative points scored throughout all seven games. The winner of each game in this phase still continues to receive an additional $100 added to their total prize money.
