City of Pittsburgh Declares PAPA Week!

It was a busy morning at the Pittsburgh City Council Meeting where Councilman William Peduto issued a proclamation declaring the week of August 8-14, 2011 the “Professional & Amateur Pinball Association Week” in the city of Pittsburgh. Mr. Peduto spent a brief moment recalling time he spent in Scott Township and thanked PAPA HQ for being such a good neighbor to the city. PAPA was recognized for, among other things, donations to the local animal shelter, encouraging the local businesses of Scott Township, and inviting so many people from all over the world to enjoy the city and its surrounding neighborhoods.

So Pre-register for PAPA 14 and join us for PAPA week!

That’s sweet! Here’s hoping that our swedish cities follow that example! Not bloody likely, though. =(
