    INSANE death save @17:32.

I have no idea how you pulled that off, especially since you’d already double-dangered on the ball. Outstanding work.

CRUSH!! 94 MILLION Sentinel Prime Jackpot! You put your 2x multiplier on the All Spark saucer at the same time the strobbing 3x multiplier was on that shot. Did that make it 4x/5x/6x or does the 3x cancel/override the 2x regular multiplier? MORE DEATH SAVES WHOOOOOO!

When the strobing shot comes over, the multiplier becomes 3x instead of 2x. I don’t know a way to increase the multiplier further. On Batman you can combine these multipliers with the “launch the ball” multipliers. The MoaJ (Mother of all Jackpots) would be the 9x Joker Super Jackpot or 9x Batmobile Award, both of which are possible with the perfect stack.

Oops. Error. 70+ million Super J, 94 million total in that Wizard mode.

Great amazing game and tutorial as usual Bowen! This really helps a lot and now I want to play some Transformers. Next time you play a tournament I think you should go into tutorial mode and just start describing to everyone around what you’re doing. You might be able to simultaneously knock out a tourney vid and a tutorial lol Thanks again!

The tutorial video was great as always. Thanks! Keep it up! I just wanted to add that whoever is designing the opening Papa and tutorial segments is Rocking it. The rotating pinball games, the Gamworks intro, Transformers intro. They are awesome. 🙂

What do you mean “next time” 🙂

    More to come…

Thanks CJ. “Gamworks” is a very different type of establishment than “Gameworks” 🙂

Very impressive game. Appreciate these tutorials — on this one, not so much for the TF gameplay (since I’m very familiar with it), but as a reminder that I need to work on my live catch skills. Nice.

The frenzy mode Bowen encountered was a very low value (in reality) fast scoring. You can theoretically keep it going forever and keep increasing its value at the Skidflaps targets, but not worth it imho. Stack it with a multiball if the opportunity presents itself, and enjoy the extra points as gravy.

A couple things I disagree on:
    1) trying to stack any mode with any multiball due to the well-noted inability to figure out what each lit orange arrow represents. There are a few modes that work well with each mb — it’s just a matter of finding which combinations work for you.
    2) That Optimus mb as Autobot is easier than Optimus mb as Decepticon. I feel as Autobot, Optimus mb is the hardest mb in the game, regardless of side. I think Bowen’s impression of Optimus as Decepticon may be skewed by his incorrect statement that there is a timer on collecting an orange arrow JP after each bash of Optimus during the mb. There is not. The timer is only on the Megatron mb when played as an Autobot.

Re: someone’s question on stacking shot multipliers, I have gotten a 6x SJP on Sentinel Prime once via 3x shot and 2x bumblebee, with a SP mode total of nearly 169M. As Bowen would say: “That’s a spicy meatball.”

Sadly, I’ve found SP mode is more lucrative in reality than Cybertron — which is just SP as a multiball with 3 shots each required. No add-a-ball that I found (I’ve only managed to get there twice). Being a multiball, it’s a lot tougher to often get your 3x jackpots on each shot.

Comparing with my own style of play on Transformers, I’d say the big difference is the ability to do consistent live catches. Mine are not as nicely behaving…

I also note that drop catches are rare here. Doing dropcatches on Stern games is a bit riskier than on Wms/Bally-games, so I guess I should try for live catches even more.
