PAPA Circuit Update

The PAPA Tournament Circuit is in full swing. Keith Elwin, the reigning PAPA World Champion, is the current leader with 283 points, edging out Zach Sharpe at 258 points. Both players have an automatic invite to the Circuit Final due to their wins at California Extreme and the PAPA World Championships for Keith, and the Gameworks Tournament of Champions for Zach. Trent Augenstein, Cayle George, and Joshua Henderson round out the top five, with Adam Becker, reigning Pinburgh Champion, nipping at their heels.

The next stop on the Circuit is the long-running Chicago Pinball Expo held outside of Chicago on October 17-21. This year’s event features a number of seminars and enough pinball for anyone to get their fill. For tournament players, the week of pinball begins at the Gameworks Tournament of Champions held October 12-14 the weekend prior to Expo, followed by the Pre-Expo Fall Classic held Wednesday the 17th at the same location. Up after that is Expobrawl held Friday the 19th, and then finally the main Expo Flipout Tournament and PAPA Circuit Event.

Pictures and Expo review to come.
