This is Andrew, from the video. Adam, you actually pronounced my last name correctly. Not many people do on the first try.
Great commentary, as always. It’s interesting to hear your comments about C division players. I’ll be honest, I had never played AFM prior to this game. I knew from watching Bowen’s tutorial a few months before the tournament that saucers were worth a ton of points. Of course the shot was risky, but with my shooting accuracy at the time pretty much any shot was risky. Given that mindset, shooting for the saucer made the most sense. But I definitely agree with Cayle, I was getting away with murder.
Looking forward to seeing the rest of the videos, and thanks for adding your awesome commentary. I know it’s not A division caliber play, but hopefully people still enjoy the videos.
Nice game Andrew.
Some really solid scores. I think when it comes down to it, experience on multiple tables, patience and knowing how to overcome tournament jitters is what really separates players in the 3 divisions.
I enjoyed watching this game. Even if it isn’t the highest caliber of play, it’s still pinball.
I think you did very well for your first game on AFM, particularly on a A division rigged table. Man, it was a fast table!
