    One hour of unadulterated pinball madness. Heck yeah.

    Yes!

    My very brief moment in the sun. Well, except for that Checkpoint game I guess…

    What our humble narrators don’t know is that by game number 3, the food poisoning from (the restaurant that rhymes with Lenny’s) fully set in, and I couldn’t feel my hands (seriously).

    By game 4, nudging was out of the question, but arm and wrist pains were certainly in play.

    It’s the first time I’ve ever had to leave early from a PAPA after-party. 🙁

    Thanks, “Moons Over My Hammy”.

    Used to be a dishwasher at Denny’s, and I must say, eating the “moons over my hammy” is a catastrophic mistake. I genuinely feel bad for you. I also recommend avoiding any fish-type products and the “sirloin”.

    Has the feeling recovered yet?

    Next time, Original Pancake House. Every time, Original Pancake House.

    Love it – thanks again for another great video! Although if I may, I’d personally prefer to see all of the balls, even the uneventful ones. If you didn’t want to do commentary for everything, if it’s not too much trouble I’d appreciate a second video with the missing balls edited in between the balls with commentary.

    But please just take that as a gentle suggestion from someone very grateful for all of the uncompensated work you guys put in to this. Thanks!

    This is completely off topic, but how come there’s no updates of videos of the new Avengers game on the PAPA blog?

    I had the same Denny’s issues with their Moons over My Hammy that weekend, so I feel your pain. It certainly helped with my pre-game dump ritual 😉

    @Matt
    I won’t be editing in the balls from this game that are missing, but we did have two sets of narrators say they prefer doing the full games. Since editing out stuff was a way to help cut down on their time spent in the first place, we’ll likely go back to full games in the future.

    @ORD
    You would have to ask Stern. I’ve offered to drive to Chicago and do some filming but nothing ever came of it. This is actually one reason we don’t have any Xmen footage yet… Same with JJP, who definitely tried to set it up, but with them we had some other random things happen that forced us to cancel.

    That too bad. =(
    So far the only decent footage is the video with Gomez explaining the rule-set of the machine, but it’s much more confusing than the one Borg did for X-Men: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwfOALXmVSA

    There’s also the issue of completeness: videos of games should ideally be of them in their final form, and with Wizard of Oz or Avengers, that isn’t the case yet. With AC/DC we filmed it twice, but that’s probably going to be the exception.

    With Robocop, we’re pretty sure there are no more software updates coming. Relax and enjoy.

    Seriously? Why would you close the door on Robocop like that, and publicly too?!? Isn’t anyone at dutchpinball listening?

    When are the “Cayle-light” shirts coming out? Great post. Thanks.

    Loving the new tournament video format guys, they make it even more like a real sport! I’d love to see all the balls played in a game even if they’re uneventful.

    Also, I’d just like to say thanks for all the other videos as well, one day I might even be able to afford a trip over from England to one of the tournaments you have! (and play Dragon, in fact mostly to play Dragon! BRWAAAAOOOO!)
