The ranks of the teams/countries you play against in WCS multiball is definetly ordered by their import quantity of pinball machines. You’ve got that right.
France actually didn’t qualified for the World Cup 94. Neither did England, and it is so far the only football World Cup they’ve failed to qualify for. Canada, Austria and Australia didn’t qualify either. How’s that for sticking to a theme.
USA qualified as hosts. But stangely, they’re not in the game as a team.
England? Did I say England? Yes. In international football (FIFA) England, Scotland, Wales and Nothern Ireland participate under their own flags. Having ‘Great Britain’ in WCS is yet another mistake. Likewise is the globe on the DMD in attract mode. It is spinning the wrong way around.

Just thought I’d point out, since you guys didn’t, when Gollum is running, if the light is pulsing, scores are 2x; if the light is solid, scores are 1/2x. Easy to glance at the light and know if you should make a shot.
TTT progress is a combination of switches (affected by balls-in-play) and jackpots (affected by 1-7 but not single/double/triple).
Oh, also TTT supers are not affected by balls in play.
In Victory Laps, you can shoot the ring to relight anytime, but if you complete all the shots first, the base value is boosted 50K. The maximum victory lap shot is 1M. It’s a good multiball if you can boost your base up to 1M. 😉
Also my legit best ROTK jackpot is a 9x super.

In TTT, are you willing to reveal the precious formula of switch hits plus total # of jackpot “values” (Jackpot 1 = value of 1, Jackpot 7 = value 7) that are required to advance to each level of the multiball?
Also, outside of the Ents mode, what’s the logic on when the left loop post is up or down to put it into the Orthanc VUK/let it go to the Baradur saucer?
The post is easy. If FOTR and/or GOTE is lit, go to Barad-Dur no matter what. Otherwise, if Ents is running or there was a recent right inlane, divert to Orthanc. Otherwise, go to Barad-Dur.
Here is a post I made about TTTMB almost exactly 5 years ago:
TTT multiball was always intended as a “survival” multiball, kinda like the movie. The goal is to survive for as long as it takes for Gandalf to show up basically.
Since it’s survival, switches (just keeping balls in play) count towards your goal as do jackpots. Easiest difficulty is 200 switches, highest is 400 (goes in 50-switch steps, default is probably 300).
Every switch hit decreases your goal by the number of balls in play (so usually 2-4). Every jackpot decreases your goal by 3 times the jackpot number (so 3-21). Originally there was an algorithm that also based this on the number of balls in play, but ultimately I thought it was too advantageous to better players vs casual players, because the number I had to set the count to was so high to make it last any time at all during 3x jackpots would’ve made it impossible for any normal person to finish it. Also, I wanted to reward you for making higher jackpot numbers, so ultimately I think it’s best the way it is.
If you make a jackpot-7, then you’ve accumulated 84 hits towards your goal, so that’s pretty good.
Oh, also the super jackpot is based on the number of jackpots you’ve shot, so if you do nothing but shoot the spinner and jets, it’ll be way lower than if you were shooting jackpots.
So, ultimately, like a lot of things I’ve done, it was probably way over-engineered, but meh. It still “feels” right to me, anyway.

Thanks Keith for the additional info on LOTR, especially the visual Gollum cues. Even though I’ve owned (and still own) and played the game for quite a while now, I didn’t know any of this info about LOTR. Is there a max multiplier for the ROTK jackpot?
Special on LOTR is 7.5M; EB is 2.5M. Collecting that special when 2X scoring and Gollum is on his good side at the same time will give you a nice piece of change.
