We opened registration for Pinburgh 2013 a week ago Friday. We now have this many players registered:
(Actually, we have more, since some players missed the photo.)
That’s a group photo of the 275 players from Pinburgh 2011. As of January 22, we now have as many players for Pinburgh 2013 as we had in 2012 €” a great event that still holds the record for the largest ever match-play pinball tournament.
There is a hard cap of 400 players for Pinburgh 2013. While there are still over 100 spots available, they are likely to go pretty quickly. Please don’t delay, and please keep passing the word on to others who may not know about Pinburgh or that registration is limited. Every new player who registers adds $150 to the prize pool, which has now passed $41,000.
Also, don’t forget about Thursday’s PAPA Circuit Final, where the top 20 players will square off in four-player elimination matches: first place wins $100, last place is eliminated, every game until the final four. It should be a great spectator event. Other tournaments will be held around the city on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. More about Thursday and the rest of the week preceding Pinburgh to come.
Thanks for joining in, and we’ll deliver a great tournament in April. See you there!
