When will the video archives be available? I missed the live coverage and would like to watch it if possible. Thanks for covering this!

You can watch the unedited archives at the PAPAtvPinball twitch page.

Otherwise, we will be posting the videos to our youtube channel within a few days.

That’s rather cool! Suggestion: Would it be possible to have an AUDIO ONLY feed? We all listened to it in the car coming home, but the video bandwidth was tough to maintain, and the stream kept breaking up. Pinball on the radio is such a great idea for long drives. Also, AUDIO ONLY feed would make it possible to stream with standard player apps of the listener’s choice.

The problem with the dedicated Twitch app is that is designed for computer game streaming, and everything is indexed by which computer game it is, and since PAPA is not a computer game, the net effect is that it does not appear in the index AT ALL, making it unwatchable from the app! That’s a big bug in the Twitch platform. There’s no choice but to watch from the Web browser, which makes a worse quality feed, because it is limited to HTTP and can’t take advantage of the custom protocol that the dedicated app would offer.

Thanks! Really enjoyed the live broadcast (when we could pick it up).

Totally agree about the audio-only stream request. It would also be really nice to have to be able to listen to commentary while watching live from within the PAPA facility.

    Special note for Adam Lefkoff:
I’m glad you brought up the possibility of strategically draining on WH2O when one of the players had two locks and a third one ready to go along with 5X ready to go, but the ball on the lower playfield. As you know, the idea is that at the beginning of the next ball, the player can shoot the Whirlpool to collect 5X scoring, then shoot No Way Out to start Game-Breaker Multiball. However, because of the partial (but very probable) partial lock stealing in this game, the player might have to hit two or three lock shots rather than just one — possibly enough to keep the strategic draining thing from happening.

There were a couple times when the players might have been considering this strategy. Keith had a billion+ first ball in the semis (?) and was at the two locks/third one ready to go/5X ready to go, and that was the first time I was thinking how cool and/or crazy it would be to drain intentionally.

Can’t wait till you get these up on Youtube. The Twitch videos take so long to buffer and freeze often.

    Download them via:
    Or similar.
For some reason, Twitch videos end up downloading as 30-minute parts. But it’s nicer than having to deal with the buffering problems.
