Kidforce Collectibles Pinball League Update

KIDFORCE PINBALL logoKidforce Collectibles Pinball League just wrapped up its fifth season in Berea, OH near Cleveland. Since its humble beginnings in April 2012 the league has grown from 22 players in the inaugural season to membership hovering around 70 for the last two. To support the growth, the league format has been rethought and expanded to more nights a week with an increasing lineup of new machines available. League members run the gamut of pinball fans from casual players and kids to collectors and serious competitors, some who travel up to two hours for league every week.

Season five ran for 10 weeks with players grouping up and playing 6 games per night with their scores being ranked in PAPA qualifying scoring spanning two week periods. Once the season results were tallied, everyone was seeded into 4 skill divisions for an all day playoffs event to compete for cash, prizes and glory.

Congratulations to our Season five winners!

It was awesome to be introduced to KidForce! The league is run very smoothly, machines are tip-top, and Don and Joe run this like family. If you’re remotely close to the area, I highly recommend joining. It’s a great bunch of people all around, great machines and a great excuse to get out of the house and play pinball. I love that it runs the gamut from pros to newbies, and everyone still has an awesome time. As if that weren’t enough, there are great prizes at the end, and if you happen upon the league on the right day at the right time, there could be some free fried chicken in it for you too. That’s just how we roll.

Thanks for everything guys! I had a blast!
