Website Redesign

The PAPA website has undergone a redesign. The majority of content has remained in the same location, but just in case, be sure to update your links. We’re always pursuing ways to improve, and this decision was based primarily on your feedback, with the number one request we receive having been better access to website features for mobile devices.  With this most recent update, most of the pages should be fully functional on your tablets and phones with all the rest soon to follow.

Moving forward, the website will be undergoing a series of further improvements, including several videos that have not yet been transferred from the old website. We expect the video section to be fully up-to-date within ten days with enhanced search abilities soon after.

We are also changing the way our website handles guest editors and story submissions. Guest editors who have submitted multiple articles in the past will be contacted shortly to discuss details of their private accounts. Please note all website visitors are encouraged submit stories or interesting gaming-related content at our new submission page here.

Thank you for your patience as we update, and if you happen to find any issues or pages that are particularly troublesome for your device, please get in touch. Your feedback is critical to any current and future success.

The Videos are the most important asset for me on this website.
Looking forward to the “complete” collection.

      Hi John,

At this point, the only videos missing are some old competition videos from 2011 and 2012. If you know of any gameplay or tutorial videos that are not currently available, let us know.

The new design is much better! The previous one was corporate and intimidating. Also, menus were too deep.

Still I think those “old” competition videos should be here. Like the PAPA 14 ones and the viral one which made it big on slashdot. I can still access it, as well as other old blog posts, but there’s no way to get to them by navigating the site. It would be cool to have older blog entries since, the database seems intact. Maybe an “older posts” button for nostalgia. Sad to see so much good content disappear in the mists of time….

What I believe though is more important is to be able to sort videos chronologically as on the old videos archive site. All videos, no matter in which category 🙂 Simple is better, but still…

    Thank you for your efforts!

      Hi Ale,

The old videos will be showing up, the transfer just isn’t complete yet.

Just for clarity, we used to draw from both vimeo and youtube. Vimeo has proved to be problematic, so we’re shifting all of our videos, including the old ones, to the PAPA youtube channel. As they appear on youtube, they will appear on this website.

Tutorials were moved first. Gameplay second, and now competition vids remain.
