PAPA 17 is over, you just finished watching 10 hours of coverage of the world’s best pinball players, and you still need more livestreamed pinball coverage. What are you going to do? Come watch the Free State Pinball Association’s (FSPA’s) livestreamed coverage of our A division playoffs, that’s what!
On Wednesday, August 20th at 8:00 PM, our finals for our Volleyball House league will come to you from beautiful Elkridge, MD. This season’s A finals will pit our top seed, Dave Hubbard, against defending champion Joe Kosack, and first time qualifier, Justin Day.
On Thursday, August 21st at 8:30 PM, our finals for our Town Hall league will be broadcast from College Park, MD. The finals will include top seed, Colin Horner, battling his brother, David Horner, and Joe Said, who finished in second place in Classics II at PAPA 17.
Livestreaming will be found on our Twitch channel: http://www.twitch.tv/fspapinball. If you can’t watch the action live, or you want to see videos from our Week 10 play on Airborne, you can view them at http://www.youtube.com/user/freestatepinball. Playoff videos will be posted on YouTube once we have them ready.
We’d like to recognize Jake Peterson for designing our mobile camera rig and for testing all of the software to put all of the camera angles together for the livestream, and William Wulf for assisting Jake with set up and for running the livestream for playoffs this week. We would also like to thank PAPA.tv and all of the kickstarter backers for giving us the inspiration to put our broadcast together. Finally, we want to thank our league locations, Mighty Mike’s in Sterling, VA, Volleyball House in Elkridge, MD, and Town Hall in College Park, MD for giving us a place to play and for supporting location pinball. Fall seasons for all three leagues start next month, and information and schedules can be found at www.fspazone.org. Thanks for reading (and watching) and please, support your local pinball locations!
