The PPL Gives Til It Hurts

The folks here at Replay Foundation and the Professional & Amateur Pinball Association would like to give a huge and personal shout out to the members of the Pittsburgh Pinball League who came out on Saturday for what they called “PAPA GIVE TIL IT HURTS DAY.” They set about beautifying and cleaning the facility ahead of next weeks PAPA 17 World Championships. We’ll Let Mish Paull take it from here:

“Other tasks for the day besides jungle removal were: painting the front doors, blackout painting of various glass block windows, mulching, cleaning out and organizing the back room supply shelves, moving several massive skeeball machines to the storage garage, hanging banners, wiping down glass and flipper buttons on every machine in the facility, cleaning and stocking the restrooms, emptying out EVERY trash can (there are many), hanging some great original PAPA related artwork, putting together new office chairs and general redding up of the parking lot and entryway. We overfilled one dumpster and could have easily done two.”

We can’t tell you how much help this was. So we’ll show you some pictures. Photos courtesy of Dan Burfield, Elizabeth Cromwell, and Matt Schwab.

To finish, we want to specifically name those folks who came out to help. Give them a round of applause when you see them next week.
